We all have friends that loves us and cares for us. We have family members tha loves us and cares for us, too. But that's not the greatest love of all. The greatest love was when Jesus died for us all.
God sent His son to die for us so we can have eternal life in heaven with him. In John 3:16, it says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life."
God loves you even though you are a sinner. If you come to him, he will forget all your past sins. He will heal you when you are hurt, he will be with you when you are down, he will forgive you. Nobody deserves His love and His grace. I don't even. Before Jesus came down to earth, our seperation from God is like the Grand Canyon. Big and wide. Nobody could cross it. But when Jesus came and died on the cross, there is no more chasm. He came as the perfect sacrifice, the sacrifical Lamb. He loves you, and He laid down his life for you, so you can live in peace and harmony with him.
I'm a Christian, but I'm not like, all religious. I have a relationship with Jesus Christ. I done some things that I know I shouldn't have done, but God forgave me for all of those stupid sins. He will forgive you too, if you let him.
"Repent, and be baptized every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgivness of your sins so that you can recieve the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38
